Navigating Affliction: The Buddhadhamma Approach to Understanding Sickness

One of the most universal facts of human existence is falling ill. Physical, mental and emotional  ailments are a natural and guaranteed part of the suffering humans face.

This one hour talk dives into Buddhist perspectives on understanding these difficulties, offering valuable insights and methods directly from the Buddha's words to help us find our way through them with more clarity and strength. There will be time for questions and answers, after the talk.

This talk is applicable to all backgrounds and experience levels.
No prior experience necessary – all are welcome!

Please join us at Sat Nam Yoga in Chicago’s West Loop at 5:45pm CDT to begin the event with Somānanda Yogi at 6pm CDT. This event will be streamed live on Zoom, and is free and open to the public.
